SCI’s Managed Router Support Services offer you professional configuration, maintenance, and monitoring based on your unique requirements. No matter what your router is being used for – Internet services, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), MPLS VPN (Multiprotocol Label Switching Virtual Private Network), or another application – you’ll have the confidence of knowing your data equipment is working properly.
Ping Monitoring gives SCI a total view of monitored routers and network links. If an outage is detected, proactive notification is provided by our Data TAC (Technical Assistance Center) Engineers. If requested, an electronic notification is also sent, and after analysis, a trouble ticket may be generated with the service provider. SCI will become the customer advocate in driving resolution of network outages with the respected service providers.
Advanced Managed Router Support provides router hardware maintenance support and configuration back up, in addition to Router Ping Monitoring and Router Configuration Support. If the router requires replacing, SCI will provide configuration for the replacement device. SCI keeps a catalog of all router configurations on file. SCI will also provide firmware support and will keep the router updated with the most recent Cisco software versions.

Administrators are often left to deal with bandwidth problems. Troubleshooting a spike or narrowing down on what is choking the bandwidth is an everyday task. Unfortunately SNMP cannot give you these insights!
SCI Network Traffic Analysis – Cisco’s NetFlow gives you the right insight you need on your bandwidth. The Flows are typically exported from the Cisco Devices to the SCI NetFlow Analyzer where the collected Flows are stored in the database for further analysis. When analyzing a high bandwidth usage, the questions to reckon with are;
- Who is using the bandwidth?
- Which applications (ports and protocols) are eating up most bandwidth?
- Is it legitimate business traffic?
- Is it time for a bandwidth upgrade?
